In addition to our excellent retail facilities, North Foreland Golf Club remains at the forefront of the latest technological developments within the game. We have advanced computer launch monitor technology, as well as a wide range of demo clubs to trial from all the leading brands mentioned previously, combined with our extensive knowledge to give you the most comprehensive custom fitting experience in the county.
Fitting Advice
A typical fitting session in our Pro Shop begins with a pre-fit discussion to gather some background information concerning your past playing tendencies and desired improvements.
Overseen by Aaron Galbraith, PGA Qualified Head Of Game Improvement, firstly we manually measure you in our ‘Game Improvement Studio’ for club length, lie angle and grip size, before electronically measuring you for swing speed and tempo.
From this information, Aaron will present you with a variety of clubs he feels are acceptable. After you have had chance to try his recommendations on our practice range, you can then make your choice. Once a final decision has been made, the session is brought to a close with a discussion on the number of clubs required to make up your most efficient set.
The Real Deal
While this is only a summary, we hope it gives you enough awareness to enable you to differentiate a real custom fitting from one that a non-qualified salesman in a retail store might do. This unique service is available to both members (£10.00) and non-members (£15.00).
