Here at North Foreland Golf Club we are proud to have the most advanced computer launch monitor technology, a wide range of Demo clubs to trial, and the most comprehensive fitting session experience in the county. All of this is overseen by myself, Aaron Galbraith - PGA Qualified custom fit specialist.

A typical fitting session at North Foreland begins with a pre fit discussion to gather some background information concerning your past playing tendencies and desired improvements. You will then be manually measured in our specialist ‘Game Improvement Studio,’ for club length, lie angle, grip size and
electronically measured for swing speed and tempo.  From this information, I will present you with a variety of clubs I feel are acceptable. You make your choices from among those recommendations after you have had chance to try them on our range.

Once a final recommendation has been agreed the session is brought to a close with a discussion on the number of clubs required to make up your most efficient set.

This summary will give you enough awareness to help you determine, when a non qualified salesman in a retail store or on line, tells you they are going to “Custom Fit” you for Golf clubs, whether you are getting a real custom fitting or not.
