This event will be held on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th April 2012 and is open to senior amatuer men over the age of 55.
The main competition is a 36 hole scratch medal played over 2 days. The first round will be played on Wednesday 4th in the afternoon the second round on the morning of Thursday 5th April. In addition to the winner of the main competition there will be two categories 55 - 65 and 65 and over with 1st and 2nd prizes for the best scratch and handicap score in each category.
The event will be limited to 72 entrants and if over subscribed there will be a ballot on handicap, the maximum handicap being 28.
The entry fee is £60 and includes 36 holes of golf, on Thursday morning coffee and bacon bap before play, with a rolling hot and cold buffet after play. Food will be available at the Club after play on Wednesday evening, which entrants will have to pay for individually.
The presentation will take place once all competitors have completed their 2nd round.
